New business premises (6,500 m²) deserve new LED lighting. Bax Metaal produces tailor-made solutions in the form of assembled sheet metal work (often for machines) and tubular structures. To ensure a logical flow through the factory, an open and transparent layout has been chosen. For a layout of that kind, the Duncan with Lambertian optics is the perfect match. Lambertian optics deliver high comfort levels thanks to the prismatic lens engineering. All the luminaires come with CLO (Constant Light Output). Because the deterioration in light output has been eradicated, extra energy is saved and the useful life extended. IP20 is used in the hall and IP54 under the awning. All light lines are fitted with decentralized emergency lighting. From a simple control panel, the lighting in each light line can be easily adjusted to the requirements on the shop floor. Installation engineers BTV Totaal Techniek were responsible for the technical aspects and Veko took charge of the fitting of the light lines, consisting of 259 luminaires.

We were already convinced of the value of LED lighting, but now recognize the value of linear lighting, too. What a difference compared with individual luminaires! Even a good system can always be improved. Veko has delivered a fabulous system with excellent lighting.
