ADEZZ had outgrown itself and had two different locations. It was time for spacious new premises at one single location. The building consists of a distribution centre with a showroom and office space. ADEZZ produces high-quality garden products, made of hardwood, Corten steel, and other materials. These materials also feature in the cladding on the building. The new premises have an industrial yet smart appearance – entirely in keeping with the lighting by Veko, said Van Santvoort Service Berlicum, who installed it. It was certainly a challenge, as the height of the building varies considerably. In the mezzanine, which is three metres in height, a one-metre luminaire with a diffusing lens has been fitted in order to achieve evenly distributed lighting. A semi-wide lens has been used in the 15-metre high warehouse aisles to ensure good visibility on the floor and in the aisles. A total of 1,183 metres of linear lighting with 413 luminaires has been fitted. All the linears and the warehouse aisles have motion sensors, to prevent energy being used unnecessarily.
Our installer advised us to use Veko linear lighting for our building, and what good advice it was. The neat design really appealed to me as well. Our production and storage areas are brightly lit, and our employees tell us it is a pleasure to work in this lighting. And thanks to the sensors, the lighting regulates itself.
