Sustainability is the starting point for all the improvements implemented by The Zone. This includes the parking garage as well. All users were involved in the large-scale renovation of the parking garage. As the largest user, NIBC supervised the complete renovation. They value the customer experience, and the first point of contact is the parking garage. It is here that the customer journey starts. Pleasant lighting gives a safe feeling, and this is particularly important in a parking garage. The Magnus was chosen with a diffuse lens with IK10 (impact resistant) and IP54 ratings. The lighting is equipped with an Encelium light management system. As a result, defects are automatically reported and the user receives extensive reports on consumption. Another major advantage of the light management system is that it allows the user to control two directions of travel with a single motion detector, making it easier to create a more efficient lighting plan. Malfunctions can also be solved remotely. In the parking garage, contiguous luminaires have been used, resulting in a light line. Commissioned by Unica, Veko installed a total of 1,100 m of linear lighting, with 530 luminaires.
