Renovating from fluorescent to LED linear lighting
Clean air — that is what Interflow is all about. As part of the Royal BAM Group, Interflow is the leading specialist in controlling air quality in spaces such as cleanrooms and operating rooms, for the purpose of providing personal and/or product protection. Based in Wieringerwerf, the Netherlands, the company has its own production location, where it produces walls, floors, cabinets and other items for cleanrooms and operating rooms.
Precise production (and other) processes require carefully selected line light systems. The existing building was equipped with a Veko lighting system consisting of fluorescent units. Rick Schilder, a project manager at Interflow, was familiar with Veko Lightsystems and wanted the management to experience the difference with modern lighting. A test setup was installed, after which it was decided to replace the existing luminaires and to equip the new parts of the building with Veko light lines. The Magnus Diffuse system, equipped with emergency lighting, was chosen. The warehouse, production area, loading and unloading area, and the commodity storage have been completed. The last piece of the puzzle will be to convert the lighting in the offices.
