Veko was asked to arrange the lighting for the headquarters of d-log, an innovative full-time service provider in the logistics sector based in Essen, Germany. Our task was to design a standardised, energy-efficient and flexible lighting system to make this aged historical industrial estate — and particularly its buildings — usable again.

We started by working with the customer to design and implement a professional lighting plan. The plan included a special system for shelf control on the upper floors of one of the warehouses, which is fully equipped with a sensor system and thus provides fully automatic regulation of individual usage behaviour for our customer.

In all, more than 500 luminaires from our Magnus series and more than 2 km of cable ducts and 50 sensors were installed at this location in two construction phases.
