Sports hall Gymworld

Gymworld is the newest sports facility in Zoetermeer. The training and competition location offers space for more than 4,000 athletes in the fields of gymnastics, dancing and free-running. For this beautiful building, Veko supplied both the line lighting (including emergency lighting for the sports halls) and the parking garage lighting.

Sports halls

The choice for the sports facilities was the all-purpose luminaire: Magnus Sport with a diffuse lens. This lens ensures that athletes will not be blinded by the light when exercising, and the high quality of light helps them improve their performance. Safety is of paramount importance in these types of applications. For this reason, the Sport version is impact-resistant and certified ball-proof. To ensure maximum performance, the lighting is equipped with a light management system. This allows central control of lighting and provides a clear overview of costs.

Parking garage

The impact-resistant variant of the Magnus was used in the parking deck. In this case, the Magnus is combined with our X-Wide lens, which ensures that the light will both reach the road and provide excellent illumination for the parking spaces. Together with a good light plan, this ensures a safe driving environment for motorists and a feeling of safety for visitors.
