Lots of good LED light, a conscious choice
Linear lighting is increasingly being used in shops. Veko’s two-metre LED linear luminaire has been mounted in the new Decathlon store in Alkmaar. In all, 800 m of light lines were assembled in just three days.
The LED light line has an integrated emergency lighting of 20 lux. That’s a lot; it is usually only 1 lux. This was a very safe and pleasant choice for such a large retail store. The Veko LED linear lighting also yields 1,200 lux. Although that is a lot of light, it was a deliberate choice, as it promotes consumer buying behaviour.
