Schagen, February 12, 2025 – Elmer Bruijnooge (43) has been appointed as Managing Director of Veko Lightsystems in Schagen by its Swedish parent company, Fagerhult Group, effective February 1. Bruijnooge had already served as Interim Managing Director for the past seven months and previously held the role of CFO at Veko for three years. His appointment coincides with a milestone: Veko’s 50th anniversary, marking half a century of growth into a leading specialist in sustainable LED linear lighting for industrial applications.

In his new role, Bruijnooge will accelerate growth in Veko’s core markets, including industrial and logistics sectors, data centers, parking garages, cold storage facilities, sports venues, swimming pools, and retail environments. Under his leadership, Veko will further invest in innovative lighting solutions that respond to the increasing demand for energy efficiency and smart lighting systems. By combining technological advancements with Veko’s signature flexibility and fast delivery & installation, the company aims for strategic expansion in both existing and new markets.

50 years of prefab excellence
